COOKING INSTRUCTIONS: Quick & easy (for 15 oz can) Serves 6-8
Add the entire contents of Tikka Masala Sauce and 1 cup (8oz) water to 2lb diced chicken (or fry 2lb chicken in 2tbsp oil in a large pan on high heat until golden brown), simmer on low heat until the sauce thickens. For creamier dish, add more cream or plain yogurt before removing from fire, garnish with fresh chopped cilantro and serve hot with rice/roti and Kerala Curry Chutneys & Pappadams.
COOKING INSTRUCTIONS: Traditional (for 15 oz can) Serves 6-8
2lb fresh diced chicken
1/2 cup plain yogurt
1/2 tbsp red chili or paprika powder
1/2 tsp turmeric
1/2 tsp salt
Marinate the chicken with the above ingredient mix for 2-3 hrs, grill/tan door or bake until chicken is half done. Add the entire contents of Tikka Masala Sauce & 1 cup (8oz) water over the chicken, simmer over low heat until sauce thickens and chicken is done. Vegetable Tikka & Tofu Tikka: Excellent simmer sauce to make Vegetable Tikka (simmer with cooked vegetables) & Tofu Tikka dishes COOKING INSTRUCTIONS: (for #10 can, 104 oz)
1. Cut up 14 lb fresh boneless skinless chicken into 1 x 2 inch pieces or chef's choice of meat size
2. Heat 1 1/2 cup oil in a large cooking pot, quick fry the diced chicken on high heat until golden brown.
3. Shake the can well, empty entire contents of the Tikka Masala sauce & 7 cups of water over the fried chicken, simmer on low heat until sauce thickens. Add about 20oz fresh cream (& plain yogurt) for desired creamy ness before removing from fire. Garnish with fresh chopped cilantro, serve hot with rice/roti/naan and Kerala Curry Chutneys & Pappadams.
